How would you describe yourself?: I love life... I am a man of one love looking for my soul mate. I am faithful and loving and most of all, supportive of my lover, best friend and other half.
How would you describe your ideal partner?: A woman of one love, faithful, romantic and loving. I am not caught up in looks as they will someday fade away. I would rather have a woman who's inner beauty radiates and fills a room. I want her to love my touch as much as I would love hers... whether it be in the middle of a crowd or alone on a secluded beach... all that matters is us together sharing our love and our life.
If you knew the world was going to end in 30 days, what would you do?: I don't know, ask me in 31 days.... just kidding.... I would hold onto those I love with all my heart and pray for forgiveness of any and all I might have hurt in any way.... and then we would go to the beach for a BBQ and if the waves were good, we'd wax the boards and catch a wave... I guess you would call that surfing the apocolypse?
If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?: I would start a company that would provide traing and schooling for widows and orphans. After that, I'd start my own business in design and construction of automobiles. Once that was up and running, I think I'd take my wife, my lover and best friend on a "round the world "cruise ending up on a secluded beach in Buzios, Brazil where we would build our dream home.
How often, and from whom do you ask advice?: rarely but I have been known to seek out counsel from those wiser.
What quality do you value most in the people of your gender?: Honesty, integrity, loyalty and a sense of honour.
What quality do you value most in the opposite sex?: faithfulness, honesty, and grace.
What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?: My wife cheating on me with another.
What is the best advice that you give to your children?: Be able to look yourself in the mirror at the end of the day and not being ashamed of the person you see. Also, if you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong.
What has produced the biggest impression (shock) on you?: My wife of 17 years being unfaithful.
The last books that you read?: I am a voracious reader. I love any of Clive Cussler's "Dirk Pitt" novels... or Tom Clancy...I am currently working on my own book which is a little Tom Clancy with a heavy dose of Clive Cussler's "Dirk Pitt" add in with just a dash Monty Python thrown in for flavor. I just started reading a new novel called "The Shack".... if they have it in Russian, get it. I think you would enjoy it.
What are your goals now?: To find the woman who will share the adventure known as life with me hand in hand.
Whom do you admire?: My parents, my boyhood idol Jimmy Clark (extra points if you know who that is), Benjamin Franklin for it was he who said, "There is no such thing as a good war or a bad peace." and Jesus, because he could turn the other cheek (sometimes I can't) and forgive where others won't
Do you have a lot of friends?: I have many people I associate with but my true friends are few but cherished.
What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?: Stubborness, greed, treating a woman poorly.
What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?: women who are cheap and without femininty.
What would you like to change in yourself?: I'm not perfect but I am happy with who I am.
What are your weaknesses?: I can be stubborn once in a while...
What are your strengths ?: I am honest (almost to a fault), loyal and faithful. I live to please my woman.
How do friends view you?: As a good and loyal friend who is always there when needed.

What are your favourite games?: I like American football (Washington Redskins), Real football or soccer as they call it here (after all, I was raised in Brazil!), and any form of car racing... be it Formula One, Nascar, Endurance (LeMans) etc. I also like bowling and anything dealing with the beach and sailing.
Who are your favourite writers and poets?: Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy.... as writers. For poets, I don't have a specific poet I like, but I go more for the intention of the words. I have found poetry I like from various countries through out the world... I also like my own writing.
What kinds of music do you like?: I like most forms of music. Classical rock (Beatles, Doobies, Tears for Fears, Pink Floyd), Classical guitar (Ottmar Leibert, Jesse Cook) and (remember, I grew up on the beach) any surf music (Beach Boys, Jan n Dean, the Ventures, DIck Dale etc). I also like what ever I am playing on the guitar at the time... be it classic rock or what ever I am writing at the time.
What is your favourite food?: I love BBQ, the smell of a really good steak on the coals... but I also like chinese, Brazilian, Italian, and also a good old fashioned hamburger (from a charcoal grill) and fries as well.
What are your favourite films?: Anything that makes me laugh.... lately my son and I have gotten into a rut with Harold and Kumar, Dazed and Confused and the like.... but I love the classics as well. I like any comedy... even the old black and white Marxs Brothers, W.C. Fields.... I also like action films.... basically anything but horror movies. And yes, I will admit that two of my favorites are "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" (Kevin Costner), "Practical Magic", and "Benny and Joon" Staring Johnny Depp... wait, that was three favorites....ok, these are three of my favorites. (sorry, just a little Monty Python humor thrown in there...)
What is your favourite fairy-tale?: I guess it would be Peter Pan.... cause there is a little bit of Peter in all of us if we look hard enough.
What is your favourite activity or hobby?: What ever I'm doing at the moment... unless there is a race on TV... be it F-1, Indy, LeMans or (after all, I am an American) NASCAR.. but I guess to really answer the question... it would be creating something; be it music, art, ... basically anything which bring joy. Lately, I am finding myself more and more at the beach, be it sunny or cloudy. There is something very peaceful about the sound of the waves that I realy enjoy.
What is your dream job?: I had it before I was forced to retire from my injuries. Now, my dream job is starting and running my own company (which is already begining)

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don’t go for looks, they can deceive. Don’t go for wealth even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.
